Raydon Scores Another Contract

Raydon Corps., a military-training company located in Port Orange, recently won a contract with the US Army that is potentially worth $44 million. This is an addition to the $46.5 million contract awarded to Raydon last September. These are two great pieces of news for this local business that has about 220 employees.
The Port Orange company topped multiple bidders in bagging the small-business set-aside contract to develop and produce systems known as Common Driver Trainers, used to mimic combat vehicles such as tanks or Mine Resistant Ambush Protected vehicles, known as MRAPs. The contract is a one-year deal with three one-year options.
