Google Doodle Competition Port Orange Student

Showcasing the quality of both our local school system and the excellent families that reside in Port Orange, Meryl Liu, a Cypress Creek Elementary student, was named the “Doodle 4 Google” state winner for Florida. This national art competition is open to all K-12 students in the United States and asks them to create their own Google doodle. This year’s theme was “My Best Day Ever.” Here is her drawing depicting a child surrounded by endangered birds, with the following caption:
