VPK Registration Port Orange 2012

New residents that recently moved to Volusia County or the Port Orange area may not realize that their children are entitled to free voluntary pre-kindergarten (VPK). The VPK program is essentially a preschool program that is offered to every four year old in the state, free of charge.

Children who attend VPK will learn skills that will help prepare them for entering and succeeding in one of the Volusia County elementary schools. 4 year olds experience the classroom atmosphere, learn letters, numbers, cutting, pasting, and more. Children also learn important social interaction with teachers and children their age. It’s a wonderful summer program for those parents who have children who will be entering kindergarten in the fall.

To learn more about the VPK program in Volusia County or to get your child signed up, contact the Early Learning Coalition of Flagler and Volusia, which is located in Daytona Beach. Please call 386-323-2400.

Homes were viewed in Cypress Head, Spruce Creek Fly In, Riverwood Plantation, and Villages At Royal Palm. Eventually the perfect home came available in Venetian Bay.

The price/square footage of the home and the luxurious amenties offered in the Venetian Bay neighborhood made this investment very appealing.
Port Orange Short Sale Attractive Options

Short sales in Port Orange are popping up daily. I have noticed a few opportunities that may be attractive to the right buyer.

Villaggio On The Lakes has a few short sale options available. One that sticks out is the 3 bedroom 2 bathroom option. It's one of the largest units in that development and a buyer may be able to "snatch it up" at a great price if the bank agrees.

A few short sale opportunities have recently become avialable in Venetian Bay just outside Port Orange. Three properties come to mind. All three options are asking close to the 200k range. The bank may or may not accept an offer in that range, but it's definitely worth a try if you are a serious buy in that neighborhood.

Feel free to contact Kevin Kling if you would like help or additional information about short sales and foreclosures in the Port Orange, Florida area.

Port Orange and Daytona Beach Golf Course Update

I' ve recently played a few golf courses in the Port Orange area. Many courses are in great shape and I have decided to note a few courses that I feel are in superior shape and ready for great play.

Cypress Head Golf Course - The fairways are incredible and the putting greens are almost immaculate. These greens are quick!

Spruce Creek Fly In Course - This course is showing much improvement since the condition of the course during the summer. The greens are great and the fairways are sharp!

Turnbull Bay Golf Course - I played this course during the summer and i was really disappointed. I am pleased to say that this course is now in fantastic shape and super challenging!

Venetian Bay Golf Course - Great shape. I had the opportunity to play this course for free and I was impressed. Fees are more expensive at this course and memberships should open in January 2008.

Get out there and have a great afternoon of golf in the Port Orange and Daytona Beach area. Golf fees range from $28 to $50 depending on the course. You can't find golf in Florida for a better price!

For Florida golf course home information, call Kevin Kling 386-527-8577.
