What: Come out to the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse this Friday night for a fun and educational night out for the entire family. Part of the nationwide Museum at Night program, this event will find the Ponce de Leon Lighthouse open its doors from 6-8:30 for a nighttime tour and is designed to highlight our rich Spanish heritage in Florida. There will be family friendly activities as well as exhibits in both Spanish and English. All of the extras of this fun event are included with the regular admission price. When: Friday, January 25th, judging begins at 3:30 pm, sampling from 4:30-5:30 pm
Where: Shores Plaza at 3048 S. Atlantic Avenue
What: This 4th annual event is just another reason that Daytona Beach Shores is a great place to call home. Stir up your favorite chili recipe or just come down and sample all of the delicious entries from local residents. Tickets are $5 to sample and can be purchased at City Hall. It is only $10 to enter your chili and the applications to enter can be found at the Publix Supermarket in Daytona Beach Shores. There will be music provided by 5 O'Clock Charley, as this promises to be a fun-filled afternoon. Don’t forget the Tums, have a great time, and good luck!
