Kevin Kling posted the highest Port Orange home sale in the month of September with the sale of 765 Barrows Dairy in Rolling Hills Estates for an impressive $625,000. This is also one of the highest single-family home sales that is not waterfront or beachside in all of the Daytona Beach area. We also saw a large increase overall in Port Orange home sales from years passed. With a 20% increase from last year alone, you can see in the graph below that Port Orange home sales are on the rise. And while 2009 Port Orange home sales were nearly as high as 2012 numbers with 72 units and 75 units sold, respectively, the average sale price for those homes in 2009 was only $142,049 compared to $164,469 in 2012.
