A Touch Of Paris Comes To Port Orange

What: In the tradition of the famous salons of Paris, local author and poet, Dan Pels will launch a series of literary and cultural evenings at Peter's Wine Shop in Port Orange. Beginning on September 4th, and the first Wednesday evening of each month thereafter, the public is invited to enjoy poetry and a discussion of cultural topics.In addition to Mr. Pels, opening night guests will include New Smyrna Beach poet and workshop teacher, Bob Calabrese, and Holly Hill poet and arts organizer, Fred Booth (aka Travallion). There will be a good selection of French wine as well as other bottles from around the world, for sale beginning at $5 a glass.
