When: Friday September 7th, Dusk - approximately 7:00pm
Where: River Front Park, corner of Magnolia Avenue and Beach Street, Daytona Beach
What: In partnership with the City Island Library, Cinematique presents their monthly film-showing under the stars this Friday night. In this series each movie shown will be based on a book, and the film will be preceded by a book club meeting at 5pm at the library to discuss the novel. This month’s book/movie, To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee, is a Pulitzer Prize winning story that is set in the early 1900’s in the South and has become a moral beacon in literature in the struggle with racial inequality. This film, though containing some adult themes, is appropriate and approachable for viewers of all ages. Bring family and friends and enjoy this free event on a relaxing Daytona Beach evening. Concessions will be available and it is recommended that you bring lawn chairs or blankets for your viewing comfort. For more information visit Cinematique
