Daytona Beach Real Estate is Better than Gold
My wife may not agree, but according to a recent national survey, real estate investment is preferred over gold! Bankrate’s recent survey found that about 25% of Americans selected real estate as their top choice for long-term investing, with cash investments second, and the stock market a distant third. Consumers were asked to select how they prefer to invest money that they won’t need for 10 years or more. The only age group that did not select real estate as their top pick was the millennial generation aged 18 to 35 who responded that they prefer cash investments to include COD’s and savings accounts. But as you know, with interest rates at historic lows, the gains on cash are minimal and the ability to borrow money for real estate purchases is at a premium. The Daytona Beach area real estate market has been growing in strength and we have seen property values increasing in Port Orange, Ormond Beach, and other popular areas. I’m not recommending a Daytona Beach parcel of land over a gold necklace as a future Valentine’s gift, but you should certainly look into real estate for your long-term financial security.
