Daytona Weekend Events Starting June 15

Here are a few local events going on this Father's Day weekend that you and your family may enjoy:

3rd Annual Hot Rods on the Hill - Saturday, June 16th 7:30 am - 3:00 pm (Registration starts at 7:30 am. Rain date - Sunday, June 17th) Parade will begin at approximately 8:30 @ Sonic Drive-In -1830 Ridgewood Ave, Holly Hill and proceed to the show at Hollyland Park -1066 Ridgewood Ave. Come spend Father’s Day weekend viewing vintage and custom cars. 2012 Summer Concert Series - Daytona Beach Bandshell, 250 N. Atlantic Avenue, Daytona Beach. Residents and visitors alike can join in the fun with great family friendly music activities for the entire family. You'll find great music that celebrates the diverse culture of our community. Free. No coolers or blankets please. Chair rentals as well as water, soda/water, etc. are available for purchase. At 9:45 p.m., a spectacular fireworks extravaganza will commence from the end of the Daytona Beach Pier.

• 7pm Saturday, June 23rd - Mighty Groove Machine (R&B/Blues)
• 7pm Saturday, June 30th - Nickoloff (Classic Rock)

Daytona Lagoon Weekend Wahoo - Every Friday night this Summer from 4:00 pm - 10:00 pm. Live bands, DJ, games and fun for the whole family. Cost is $14.99 per person for water park admittance.
