When: April 4, 2015 from 10:30am - 4:00pm
Where: Ocean Walk Shoppes- 250 N Atlantic Ave, Daytona Beach
What: Get the family ready for a fun-filled day of Easter cheer at Ocean Walk Shoppes and the Historic Bandshell in Daytona Beach. The Egg-Stravaganza and the Easter Beach Run will take place this Saturday and is sure to be fun for all ages. This year Egg-Stravaganza has teamed up with the Easter Beach Run - the longest standing footrace in the state of Florida - to create a day-long celebration. The schedule of events is as follows:
- 10:30 am - Easter costume contests, the bunny hop, and giveaways
- Noon & 1:15 pm - Easter Beach Run: 4-mile and 2-mile races on the beach. Kids' races including a quarter mile run, 100 yard dash, and 50 yard dash all begin at 2pm.
- Noon to 4 pm - 2nd Annual Egg-Stravaganza! This pre-Easter family-friendly celebration features free Easter bags, bounce houses, carnival games with plenty of candy, a make-your-own bunny ears craft area, face painting, kid's music, a hula hoop contest, and of course, free pictures with the Easter Bunny!
This looks like a very exciting event in Daytona Beach and the best part is, it’s FREE! So hop on down to the Bandshell this Saturday and we hope you have a great Easter weekend.
