Fathers Day Celebrate In Daytona Beach

Fathers Day is this Sunday, June 15th, and for once I’m not scrambling in search of gift ideas. As a father, this is my day to relax and I am planning on sitting back and enjoying the day at home with my two young sons. While fathers do not generally want or need the pageantry that we give Mothers Day, there are still some options out there for those looking to treat their father to a fun day around town.

Free Fishing Day at Inlet Harbor
This sounds like a great way to spend Father’s Day as grand-dads, dads and kids will enjoy a free day of fishing from the Inlet Harbor Fishing Pier in Ponce Inlet. There will prizes awarded to both the Biggest and Ugliest Fish caught and the restaurant will even prepare your catch for you onsite. The price for this is just $6.99/lb and the catch comes served with french fries, hushpuppies and coleslaw. This event runs from 6am to noon on Sunday.

Brunch at Texas Roadhouse in Port Orange
This is not your typical Mothers Day frou-frou brunch. Fathers will enjoy a manly brunch buffet at this popular Port Orange steakhouse located in the Pavilion.
