Florida Top For Real Estate Development
If you live in Florida, then you don't need U.S. Census data to tell you that our major cities have seen rapid real estate development over the last several years. But a recent study posted to the Florida Realtors website found that Florida actually had three cities in the top 20 nationwide for volume of real estate construction since 2013. What’s even less surprising is that this top volume is found through Central and North Florida; in Tampa, Orlando, and Jacksonville. Other national cities that made this list include New York City, Los Angeles, Nashville, and Chicago. But let’s take a closer look at Florida:

The Daytona Beach area also has seen a large increase in real estate development over this time with the addition of huge residential neighborhoods such as Latitude Margaritaville as well as condo buildings like the Aruba in Daytona Beach Shores. This study also found that self-storage development is among the most active in the real estate industry. Great, just what we need - more storage facilities!
