Hard Rock Daytona Beach
Get ready to rock and roll as the world famous Hard Rock is coming to the “World’s Most Famous Beach.” Hard Rock International made the announcement late last week, detailing the 375,000-square foot complex that will sprawl along a prime oceanfront location on State Road A1A in Daytona Beach.
Slated to open in 2016, the massive development will feature 100 condominium units, 250 hotel rooms, a signature Hard Rock Cafe and all the Hard Rock brand signatures from Rock Star Suites to Vibe managers, a RockSpa, Sleep Like a Rock linens and even a recording studio for guests to use during their stay. The resort will also feature a pool with a bar and grill, ballroom, and meeting spaces.
The new business is expected to bring around 300 jobs to the beachfront, which only serves to bolster the excitement over another mega project in the works on the north end of A1A. A Russian developer is preparing to break ground on a $150 million hotel/condo development, that will be completed shortly before Hard Rock. The two new projects should add 750 hotel rooms to the A1A strip.
Hard Rock International has 179 Hard Rock venues in 57 countries, with this project becoming the 4th in Florida, joining others in Orlando, Tampa and Hollywood with the music-driven, fun-filled attraction. Check back with us for updates on this exciting project.
