International Museum Day & Armed Forces Day at Ponce de Leon Inlet Lighthouse

When: Saturday, May 17, 2014, 10:00am - 6:00pm
Where: Ponce Lighthouse, 3941 S Peninsula Dr. Ponce Inlet
What: “Museums are the storytellers of mankind’s collective knowledge and experiences.” Come out this Saturday to our historic Ponce de Leon Inlet Lighthouse and celebrate National Museum Day as you learn about the lighthouse’s role in our local heritage. There will be several family oriented activities making this a fun and inexpensive activity for your family weekend. In fact, if you are a veteran or active military service member, you will enjoy free membership on Saturday as the Lighthouse staff recognize Armed Forces Day. There is a military tribute to our fallen veterans across our nation’s history adjacent to the lighthouse and it is a beautiful sight to behold. This promises to be a great way to spend your day in Ponce Inlet!
