Kids Learn To Fish Daytona Beach

Where: City Island, Daytona Beach
What: Bring the kids out this weekend for a fun day of fishing in Daytona Beach. The Halifax Sport Fishing Club will be at City Island along the Halifax River this Saturday providing a fun and free event for children age 6 to 12. The club will set up learning stations that highlight what you need to know about knots, tackle, being a good angler, habitat, and casting. At the "finish line," kids will receive a goodie bag with FWC regulations and fish identification. This program promotes ethical angling and awareness of the marine environment to children of the Daytona Beach area. This is a great educational and entertaining opportunity for the family to enjoy this Saturday in Daytona Beach!
