Lipton Cup Regatta - New Smyrna Beach

When: Friday-Sunday, April 12-14th
Where: Peabody Auditorium, 600 Auditorium Blvd., Daytona Beach
What: Smyrna Yacht Club presents the Lipton Cup Regatta, A multi-divisional offshore race for boat enthusiasts of all ages! The regatta is open to all sailboats of suitable seaworthiness to participate in near shore racing in the Atlantic Ocean. Event schedule is as follows:
FRIDAY:
-Welcome Cocktail Party begins Friday at 6:30pm at the Smyrna Yacht Club Tiki Bar
SATURDAY:
-The race boats depart from the Smyrna Yacht Club docks
-At 9am the boats will assemble in the ocean off Ponce Inlet, and at 9:30am the Lipton Cup party begins at Toni & Joe's
-The private party begins for invitees at the Lipton Cup Skybox at 9:30am
-From 10am to 2:30pm, two ocean course races will take place.
-6:30pm the Captain's Party (for ticket holders) at the Smyrna Yacht Club
SUNDAY:
-The race boats depart the Smyrna Yacht Club at 8am
-At 9am the boats assemble in the ocean off Ponce Inlet
-The Lipton Cup party begins at 9:30 at Toni & Joe's
-From 10-11:30, Ocean Course 3 races take place
-Cocktails at the Smyrna Yacht Club Bar begin at 3:30pm, followed by the awards presentation at 4:30
