New Port Orange Walmart
With the old Food Lion Supermarket now closed for several years, the northern Port Orange area will soon have a new grocery shopping opportunity. It was recently announced that a Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market will be built at the corner of Clyde Morris Boulevard and Madeline Avenue. The proposed grocery store will be about one-third the size of the Walmart Supercenter located 2.5 miles down the road on Dunlawton Avenue and is scheduled to break ground early in 2015. The Neighborhood Market typically carries only grocery items, including a bakery, deli, fresh produce, and possibly a pharmacy. There will also be space for other retail stores to join the new Walmart Neighborhood Market. What do you think of this new shopping option in Port Orange?
