New Restaurants At The Volusia Mall
More new restaurants may be coming to the Volusia Mall as major improvements continue along International Speedway Boulevard in Daytona Beach. A plan is in the works to add several new restaurants around the Volusia Mall property in a project tentatively titled the “Volusia Mall Streetscape.” Local entrepreneur, Gale Lemerand, is expected to open a Peach Valley Cafe in 2016 and the Streetscape project is expected to include other multi-tenant buildings, covered pedestrian walkways, outdoor seating and even a fountain. Some current buildings are slated to be demolished to make room for these new restaurants including the Sears Auto Care building and possibly one of the three Dillard's Department Store locations. The other rumored restaurant to come to this stretch is Cheddar’s Casual Cafe, a fast-growing chain that places a strong emphasis on using fresh ingredients and serving quality food in a family-friendly setting. These are some exciting additions to Daytona Beach and will be sure to improve the curb appeal of the Volusia Mall area. What other restaurants or stores would you like to see come to Daytona Beach?
