What: Come out to the Museum of Arts & Sciences on Friday, December 5th for the exciting Night Sky Celebration. Celebrate the wonders of the season’s night sky with your friends and family by enjoying live Planetarium shows, telescope viewing, hands-on activities and documentaries. If you haven’t had the opportunity to do so already, it is the perfect night to experience the new state-of-the-art Planetarium by attending the “Splendors of Stargazing”, a live interactive show scheduled for 6:00pm, 7:00pm and 8:00pm. Weather permitting, take a walk outside to see the real thing through the plethora of telescopes that will be setup to enjoy. An assortment of hands-on activities will be held inside that will teach the fundamentals of astronomy as well as exciting documentaries about the universe that will be shown hourly throughout the evening in our large auditorium. Admission for this family-friendly event is free for MOAS members, $7 for adults, $6 for seniors and $4 for children ages 6 and up. See you at the museum for a spectacular night of stargazing!
