Port Orange U-turn U-get a ticket

As previously discussed, U-Turns will no longer be authorized for eastbound Dunlawton Avenue traffic at the median break directly in front of the Chick-Fil-A restaurant/Target Plaza. Only left turns into this plaza are authorized. The signs are in place and Port Orange Police are allowing an educational phase through July 18, 2014 in which violators of the U-Turn regulation will be given a written warning. Beginning July 21, 2014, drivers that violate the No U-Turn regulation at this spot will be subject to a traffic citation costing $166.00 and three points on their driver’s license.
