Port Orange YMCA Basketball Summer League 2012

Looking for affordable activities for your child to do this summer? How about signing up for a Port Orange summer basketball league? The Port Orange YMCA is now holding their summer basketball registration. It’s an affordable way for kids to be active this summer and make new friends. Friendly competition indoors and an opportunity to develop team work.

The Port Orange YMCA basketball summer league is open to children ages 3-12, and the cost is $45 for members (there is a slightly higher charge for non-YMCA members). Think of this as another opportunity to keep your children busy during the summer and away from the video games.

The YMCA basketball league focuses on teaching kids the basic basketball skills and how to work together as a team. Games are typically held at the Port Orange YMCA, located at City Center. Occasionally there are games that may require traveling to another local YMCA. The fee to play includes their uniform shirt, and each child gets a trophy at the end of the season.
