The Daytona Beach Flea Market Experience

flea and farmers market in daytona beach, florida“Free Admission, Free Parking, Free Fun” boasts the website for a sometimes forgotten Central Florida mini-attraction. Spreading over forty acres adjacent to I-95 at International Speedway Boulevard, the Daytona Flea and Farmers Market is a local staple that is hard to overlook. At nearly one thousand vendors, selling goods that range from produce to leather-ware, used books to jewelry, and beyond, a weekend trip to the Daytona Flea Market is sure to hold something for everyone.

Opening in 1981, the market has seen continued growth to tune of over two million visitors annually, even though the market is only open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 9am to 5pm. USA Weekend recently ranked the Daytona Flea and Farmers Market one of the Top 5 markets in the country. The market is a great place to shop, peruse, haggle, and even get some exercise along its three miles of aisles. Whether it is frigid Friday in January, a sweltering Saturday in August, or just a rainy Sunday in between, weather does not have to hold you back from a flea market visit either. The covered booths and aisles also boast numerous fans and misters for those hot Summer days.

But what is there you ask? Well, way too much to list here. There are things you need, things your forget you needed, and things you didn’t even know you needed until you got there. You will just have to go explore and see what you are missing out on. If you would like any other information, you can visit the official website Daytona Flea Market.

Hours are 9am to 5pm Friday, Saturday, and Sunday rain or shine.
