Veterans Day 2013

November 11th marks Veterans Day, a federal holiday which honors those who have served in the United States armed forces. There is a tremendous veteran presence in the Daytona Beach area, and we at 386RealEstate.com would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to to all veterans who have served for our Country. Below we wanted to outline some of the many complimentary meals and other opportunities available to our local veterans this Veterans Day. Restaurants

Applebees - On Monday, November 11th, veterans and active duty military can choose from a free signature Thank You Meal menu that includes some of Applebee’s favorite items, including a 7 oz. House Sirloin, Bacon Cheddar Cheeseburger, Three-Cheese Chicken & Sundried Tomato Penne, Fiesta Lime Chicken, Double Crunch Shrimp, Chicken Tenders Platter or Oriental Chicken Salad. Must present valid Veteran’s form of identification or be in uniform.

Golden Corral - Monday November 11th from 4 PM to 9 PM get a free Veterans Day buffet and beverage to any veteran who has served in the United States military or is a current active duty service member.

Olive Garden - All veterans and military active duty will receive a free meal from a special menu on Veterans Day. Also, all November current military service members and their families get 10% off in honor of Military Appreciation Month.

Red Robin - All Veterans and Active Duty Military get a free Tavern Double Burger and Bottomless Steak Fries on Monday, Nov. 11.

TGI Friday’s - Veterans and active duty military service members are invited have lunch this Veterans Day, Monday, November 11, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Carrabba’s Italian Grill - If you are a veteran or active military member, you can stop by a Carrabba's near you and get a free appetizer of your choice on Monday, November 11. There's no purchase necessary and you'll need to bring military ID or come in your uniform.

Red Lobster - Veterans can stop by Red Lobster and get a free appetizer Monday, November 11 through Thursday, November 14, 2013. Choose from Spicy Buffalo Chicken Bites, Lobster Pizza, Sweet Chili Shrimp, Crispy Calamari & Vegetables, Lobster-Artichoke-and-Seafood Dip, Lobster Pizza, Lobster-Crab-and-Seafood-Stuffed Mushrooms, Parrot Island Coconut Shrimp, Crispy Fried Green Beans, Mozzarella Cheesesticks, or Chilled Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail.

BJ’s Restaurant - All veterans and active duty military get a complimentary lunch entree or a one topping mini or individual pizza. Simply present proof of service.

Chili’s - Veterans and active-duty military get a choice of 7 free meals. Must show proof of military service.

Hooters - Receive 10 free boneless wings with the purchase of a drink for all veterans and active duty military. Military ID or proof of service required.

Outback Steakhouse - Military personnel and veterans get a free Bloomin’ Onion® and Coca-Cola. Must have valid identification. Also, receive 10% off the entire guest check (excluding alcohol, taxes and gratuity).

Texas Roadhouse - Free meal on November 11.

Other Discounts

National Parks - Everybody gets free entrance to our National Parks on Veterans Day weekend. Dates this year include November 9 – 11, 2013.

Bed Bath & Beyond - 20% off the entire purchase for U.S. Military, veterans and military spouses on November 9, 10 and 11, 2013.

JC Penney - All current and former military personnel and their families can enjoy an extra 20% off on purchases in-store (some exclusions may apply) from November 6-11 by presenting a military ID or proof of service.

Sea World Parks - Veterans get 50% off tickets now through November 11th, 2013. Seaworld properties include Sea World, Aquatica, Busch Gardens, Sesame Place, Adventure Island, Water Country USA and Discovery Cove.

Home Depot - Veterans can save 10% off all purchase up to $500.
